How To Find The Best CBD Products With Suggestions On Where To Find One

Many steps are involved in the production of CBD oil, each of them is a make-or-break factor. Unfortunately, for consumers it’s not always easy to determine which CBD brands and product claims’ are trustworthy. With the HUGE growth in popularity of CBD oil, many new brands and merchants are coming out each day with promises to offer you the very best, high-quality supplement. Everyone says that they are the best in the industry. However, there are few regulations, if any, to help monitor and regulate these claims.

We conducted some research to help you identify high-quality CBD from its low quality counterparts when selecting CBD Products.

Industrial Hemp plant

It Starts with The Hemp Source

It all starts in the soil.

Hemp is an effective bioaccumulator. What does this mean?

It means it absorbs everything from the environment it’s cultivated in.

In reality, when grown in clean and fertile soil, the hemp will pull all the good nutrients to grow strong, healthy, and produce plenty of CBD.

But when the growing conditions are substandard and the soil polluted — the plant will draw in on every contaminant, too, resulting in very poor material.

With that said, I strongly recommend buying CBD from domestic/USA farmers who grow all organic hemp plants, and even if they aren’t certified organic on paper.

This ensures you’ll only get pure CBD oil that is safe

The Extraction Method

The method by which CBD oil is processed can usually tell much about its quality. (There are a few exceptions) The method by which CBD oil is processed can also tell much about the products quality.

Some manufacturers use toxic solvents like propane and butane for extraction to avoid higher production costs and sell cheap CBD oil. The toxic residue in such products is what you want to steer clear of. I, for example, couldn’t imagine myself purposefully exposing my children to hazardous substances.

There are two extraction methods that yield clean and potent extracts without leaving any harmful chemicals behind — ethanol and CO2 extraction.

Ethanol is used in making CBD tinctures. The high-CBD bud is soaked in high-proof alcohol like Ethanol so the cannabinoids and other hemp can be extracted If done carefully the minute compounds can be completely extracted from the oil.

CO2 extraction calls for using pressurized CO2 at varying temperatures to obtain an oily extract which is then suspended in a carrier oil (most often MCT oil). This method is the golden standard in the industry.

Different chemical signatures between full spectrum oil and isolate oil.

Is It Full Spectrum CBD Oil Or Is It CBD Isolate?

Full-spectrum CBD oil contains all the phytonutrients from the hemp plant, and this will contain cannabinoids (with maximum 0.03% trace amounts of THC), terpenes, flavonoids, and essential oils, whereas CBD isolate carries only pure, isolated cannabidiol.

Full spectrum CBD oil that is obtained from the whole plant is generally believed to have a much greater therapeutic value than isolate only based products and the user needs less CBD to achieve the desired effect. There is much more valid scientific evidence that supports the theory about the synergy between cannabinoids, especially when it comes to pain and inflammation. There is the “Entourage Effect” and that is when every substance in the plant works together to produce a greater benefit.

But there is a place for isolate only products. Though there is not enough THC to make one high, there is always the slim yet important chance of failing a drug test. This is not ideal for those whose jobs require testing and will not hire one who does and may fire one who i already working.

3rd Party Lab Testing And Lab Reports

Once a CBD oil is manufactured, companies can voluntarily submit their products for third-party testing, which is conducted by non-company staff to ensure the product is safe for consumption and consistent with the bottle’s label.

CBD oils should always feature information about third-party tests; if they don’t, it should raise some red flags.

Is It Legal

The first thing you need to ask is whether the CBD oil was legally sourced/gathered. CBD products that are made from ‘marijuana’ plants are only legal in states where recreational is legal. This is because these products contain much higher amounts of THC. Pretty much, a CBD product (such as oil) is only legal if it contains less than 0.3% THC. This is not obtainable if the CBD is taken from marijuana plants.

Then there is another member of the Cannabis sativa plant family and this is hemp. Industrial hemp can be grown for a many purposes, including using the plant fibers as construction materials. And guess what? Hemp is high in CBD, but only contains trace amounts of THC.

So before buying any CBD products, you should verify this by checking out the company’s information. Any reputable seller will specifically state that their CBD oil was sourced from industrial hemp.

Bottles of CBD oil

What Part Of The Plant Did It Come From

When it comes to hemp oil it can be made from different parts of the plant. As well as purchasing hemp-derived CBD oil, you’ll also want to make sure that you’re getting actual CBD from hemp plant material, rather than just hempseed oil.

By cold pressing the seeds of the hemp plant, a deep green oil is obtained which can be bottled and sold as hempseed oil. This is a very organic product, often non-GMO, and it is said to make an amazing food supplement. The seeds of the hemp plant have very low levels of saturated fats and high levels of essential fatty acids – in fact, just 15 ml can provide you with your daily requirement for fatty acids.

But while hempseed oil might be very good for you nutritionally, it is not the same as CBD hemp oil. The former contains no cannabinoids, meaning that taking it won’t provide you with any CBD. Hemp seeds don’t contain these plant cannabinoids and that is why they aren’t present in the oil.

How Much Does The Label Tell You

Some of the things that the label of CBD oil should tell you are for example, it should talk about the sourcing of the product, whether it was made from hempseed or plant, and it might mention a few other things, such as:

1- Manufacturer and Distributor

2- Serving size information

3- Warnings and storage suggestions

4- Ingredients and cannabidiol content

The more labeling, the safer the product usually.

There are lots of CBD sellers out there, but not all of them are safe. Before purchasing any CBD oil, you should follow the above advice and carry out your own research to ensure that you are buying a safe product from a reputable manufacturer.

We will say again that you should never buy a product without a third-party lab testing report, and you should also feel confident in the labels, confidently knowing that the cannabinoid content in the product is as it says it should be..

As long as you take note of these guidelines, you should be fine.

There are so many CBD company’s out there and it is an overwhelming experience for many people and in the end people could be left high and dry with a poor or dishonest product that does not work. Many disnonest people are taking advantage of the CBD explosion.

Many products do not have what is stated on the bottle in them. Many have too high a THC content. Many have pollutants, chemicals, and other harmful ingredients in them. Many have more CBD and many have less that is stated on the bottle.
